Form Cache

Introduction

Feature(s)

During the form-filling process, some unexpected circumstances might happen, for example, you may quit the website without submitting the form. Form Cache is available to protect the data that has been entered. With this feature, the system will automatically retrieve the data that has not been submitted when you reopen the form.

Application Scenario(s)

  • When filling out the form, you may need to pause or stop due to other matters.
  • When filling out the form, you may accidentally click the back button and exit the form-filling page.

Preview

Enter data in the Employee Information form and do not submit it. Then, switch to the Sales Management form and return to the Employee Information form. The system will load the cached data that has yet to be submitted.

Setting Procedure

Where to Set

Go to Form Properties and enable Form Cache.

Note:

1. Form Cache is disabled by default, but can be enabled as needed. Once enabled, any data that was not submitted during the previous form-filling process will automatically be loaded when you re-enter the form-filling page.

2. Cached data will be retained for 24 hours.

Where to Apply

Form Cache can be applied in the following three scenarios:

  • Fill out the form in the app.
  • Fill out the form through the shortcut of initiating a workflow.
  • Fill out the form via a public link.
