Notifications of Record Submitting
Introduction
Feature(s)
If you select When a record is submitted in Timing, a recipient will receive a notification when a record is added.
Note:
1. If you set yourself as a recipient and submit a record, you will not receive a notification.
2. If you import records into a form, Notifications will not be triggered.
Application Scenario(s)
- For employee recruitment, after applicants submit their resumes, the system will send notifications to the person responsible to check their resumes and arrange interviews.
- For employee registration, after recruited employees submit their registration forms, the system will send notifications to the human resources department to file and manage their employee documents.
- After a client orders, the system will notify the person in charge of the warehouse to arrange delivery.
Preview
After you set Timing, the system will send you a notification by email when a record is submitted.
Setting Procedure
Where to Set
Go to Extension, click Notifications > New Notification, then you can set Timing.
Setting Timing
Select When a record is submitted from the drop-down list under Timing.
Other Settings
Set Conditions, Recipients, and Content.
Data Permission in Notifications
There are two options in Data Permission in Notifications: According to Permission Sets (Recommended) and Read Only.
1. According to Permission Sets(Recommended)
If you tick According to Permission Sets(Recommended), you can print, copy, edit, or delete the submitted record.
2. Read Only
If you tick Read Only, you can only view the submitted record.
Method
You can choose to send notifications to the recipient's email or server. To receive notifications, you should ensure you have linked your email to Jodoo.
Rule(s)
1. After receiving a notification, click View Details, and you will notice that the system will only display the first seven fields in the notification box by default. Member permissions do not determine the default number of the notification fields.
2. The system cannot display the hidden fields in the notification box.
3. If you tick According to Permission Sets(Recommended), you can print, copy, edit, or delete submitted records. For details about the data permission, see "Data Permission in Notifications" mentioned above.
