Subform Automations

If there is a subform in a form, you need to set field values using the subform when setting triggered actions. For example, in purchasing, sales, and inventory management, you need to automatically add an outbound record in the outbound form after submitting an order. Order details in forms are often in subforms. So when adding new records in order forms, there will also have new order details in outbound forms.

In addition to set field values to other subfields, the sub-fields can also set field values to parent fields. But the way to set field values is different. The following will introduce how to use subform automations from two aspects: setting subfields field values to parent fields and setting subfields field values to other subfields.
