Introduction
Functions
App Settings refers to setting the basic information of an app.
Application Scenarios
In Jodoo, to provide convenient access to an app and to ensure timely push of app updates, you often need to access the App URL and publish it to members.
You can copy the App URL and send it to a member for filling in records.
Preview
Enter the URL of an app into a browser to directly access the app.
Setting Procedure
Click an app, and then go to App Management > App Settings to set the app.
App Name
Click Edit, enter a new name, and then click OK.
App Icon
Click the Change Icon button to change the icon.
There are two options: Pre-built and Custom.
Pre-built
In Pre-built, six colors and 20 icon styles are available, the combination of which will create 120 different icons.
Custom
Besides Pre-built, you can select Custom to upload an image based on actual conditions.
Note:
- In Custom, the maximum size of an uploaded image should not exceed 20 MB.
- Supported image formats: JPG, JPEG, and PNG.
- Image Size (recommended): 200*200 pixels
Download Icon
You can download either the pre-built or the custom icon.
App URL
App URL consists of a fixed enterprise account URL and a custom suffix. You can click Settings to set App URL.
After finishing the settings, click OK.
Then copy the link and send it to a member. After finishing the settings, you can still reset App URL.
App ID
App ID is the unique number of an app, which is automatically generated by the system. You can copy but cannot modify App ID.
App Watermark
App Watermark serves to add a watermark to the system page of highly confidential business.
1. Where to Set
An admin can click App Management and then enable the App Watermark function in App Settings.
2. Demonstration
If you enable the App Watermark function, watermarks will be displayed when a member access data-related page such as the dashboard, the form permission set, and My Tasks in an app. The watermark consists of the member name and the last four digits of the member number.
Note:
1. Mobile does not support App Watermark.
2. When you copy an app, the app watermark settings in the app will not be copied.
3. App Watermark is an advanced function that requires the premium plan. Otherwise, the turn-on button will not be available to you.
If you turn on the global watermark, the button will be turned on by default and you cannot turn it off.
Notes
1. To access an app through its URL, you should have the access permission for at least one form or dashboard. Otherwise, the system will show the prompt below.
2. If the URL of an app has been changed, the system will show the error prompt below when you access an app through its original URL.
