Comments
Introduction
Feature(s)
The Comments extension enables you to add comments to forms and workflow forms and @mention relevant team members to check and review records. You can also customize notification settings when using @mention.
Note:
1. If you @mention yourself in a comment, you will not receive any notifications.
2. If you @mention a member in a comment, the member should have corresponding permissions to check and review the comment.
Application Scenario(s)
- In product information management, you can edit existing product information and use @mention to notify relevant team members for review via comments.
- During the approval process, the approver can add comments and @mention relevant team members to check and review the progress of the workflow.

Setting Procedure
Where to Set
Click of the form, and click Edit > Extension > Advanced to set Comments.
Both forms and workflow forms support the Comments feature. You can enable or disable it according to your needs.
Notification Method(s)
There are two notification formats available: System Messages and Email. System Messages is enabled by default, and you can tick Email or not according to your preferences.
How to Comment
Where to Comment
1. Regular forms.
a. To add comments to a record, go to Manage Data and click the record you want to comment on.
b. Click Comments in the pop-up window's upper right corner and comment in the box below.
2. Workflow forms.
a. After initiating a workflow, you can comment on records in My Tasks.
b. You can make comments on records in Manage Data as well. Go to Manage Data, click the record you want to comment on, and enter your comment.
@Mentioning Member(s)
Click @ in the comment box, or enter the @ character before selecting a member. Then the member can receive a notification to check comments.
Uploading Attachment(s)
1. Where to apply.
When Comments is enabled, you can include attachments in your comments in the following scenarios:
- Data in the permission set.
- Data in Manage Data.
- A record in My Tasks, Initiated, Processed, and CC Me.
- Data in spreadsheets of a dashboard.
2. How to upload.
Click , select the attachment you wish to upload, and click Open.
3. Notes.
1. The format of supported attachments is the same as the format supported in the Attachment field.
2. The maximum size for a single attachment is 20 MB.
3. You can upload up to ten attachments to one single comment.
Editing and Deleting Comment(s)
1. Edit comments.
After you successfully send the comment, you can edit it. To edit the comment, click Edit on the comment page.
2. Delete comments.
If a comment is no longer necessary, you can delete it. To delete it, click Delete on the comment page.
