Dimension Freeze
Introduction
Functions
Dimension freeze means you can freeze the dimension of row or column space. If the dimension is frozen, the frozen column or row will not move when you slide the chart content from left to right or from up to down.
Application Scenarios
When the size of the chart component is fixed and there are too many columns or rows, you have to slide the chart to view all the data.
In this case, you can freeze the column or row dimension so that you can slide the chart to view the dimension of every column or row.
Preview
When you slide the chart content, one row or one column (multiple columns) is always fixed.
Note: You can only set the dimension freeze in a pivot table or a detail table.
Setting Column Freeze in Detail Table
Where to Set
Go to Detail Table > Settings > Column Freeze.
The header of a detail table is frozen by default so that you only need to set Column Freeze.
