Setting Procedure

Customizing Submit Button Text

1. Regular Form

In a regular form, go to Design > Form Properties > Buttons, and click Edit in the Submit column. On the following page, you can enable the button and customize Button Text. After the settings, click Complete.

2. Workflow Form

a. If you have not enabled the workflow, go to Design > Form Properties > Buttons, and click Edit in the Submit column. You can therefore set the submit button. After the settings, click Complete.

b. If you have enabled the workflow:

  • Go to Workflow, click a node, and go to Node Properties > Advanced to set the submit button.

  • On the following page, you can change the button text from Submit to Send. After the settings, click Complete.

After setting the submit button in Workflow, you cannot go to Design > Form Properties to edit the button. There will be a prompt beneath Buttons: Workflow has been enabled. The action button follows the settings configured in the task node.

Note:

1. After the workflow is enabled, you can disable the Submit button only when the Submit&Print button is enabled. However, if the form is accessed through a public link, the Submit button is always displayed.

2. The button text should be no more than 50 characters.

3. Where to Apply

a. For a regular form and a disabled workflow form, after customizing the button text, the setting will take effect:

  • When you add, edit, and copy data in a permission set;
  • When you add, edit, and copy data in Manage Data;
  • When you fill in data through an internal or a public external link;
  • When you preview a form in Form Public Link Style.

b. For a workflow form, you can set the submit button after setting Field Properties and the edited button text will take effect:
