When a filter button is added, the filter results of all filter components in a dashboard can be calculated after clicking the filter button.

A filter button is used to solve the problem of slow filtering caused by a large amount of data.

Adding a Filter Button

Visit a dashboard, click either of the buttons in the image below to go to the dashboard editing page:

Then add a filter button next to the two filters:

When there is a filter button, you need to click the filter button after selecting the filter conditions to calculate the filter results:

When you need to refilter, you can clear the filter items by clicking Clear from the drop-down list of Filter once.

b. No filter button

When there is no filter button, after you directly select the filter condition, filtered data will be displayed immediately:

You need to click the filter button at the bottom to go to the filter page on mobile:

Select the required items to filter. Regardless of whether the dashboard adds Filter Button, after the filter is completed, you need to click Filter in the image to filter the data as follows:

You can clear the filtered out options by clicking Clear.

Notes

1. Before adding a filter button, you must add a filter in advance.

2. Multiple filter buttons can be added to a dashboard and each filter button takes effect on the filter. If your filters are distributed in different areas, you can place a filter button in each area for use.

3. The filter button cannot be renamed and its fixed name is Filter.

4. The color of the filter button changes with the highlight color in dashboard style settings.

5. Regardless of whether the filter button is set or not when you filter data on mobile, you need to click Filter after selecting the conditions to filter the results. Therefore, the filter button mainly takes effect on PC.

Limiting Filter Options Permissions

When filtering, the value of candidate options will be limited according to the form data source configured by filters.
