The Multi Tab field allows you to add multiple tabs to a form, where different tabs show different fields. Through this feature, you can better organize the form and help members to view it more easily.

In an equipment inspection form, I need to add many fields to record information such as Inspection Information, Inspection Records, and Equipment Repair. How do I organize fields in a structured and logical manner?

You can add a Multi Tab field in the form, add as many tabs as needed, and add fields to these tabs to your liking.

Customer Management

How do I collect different kinds of information from customers and organize the information in a structured and logical way?

You can add a Multi Tab field in your form, rename tabs to Basic Information, Business Opportunities, and so on. Then add necessary fields to these tabs.

For example, when filling out the Equipment Inspection form, you can query previous repair records of equipment.

Adding a Multi Tab Field

On the Design page, add a Multi Tab field and set Field Properties.

Selecting a Style for Multi Tab

To change styles for the Multi Tab field, go to Field Properties > Pattern. Jodoo supports three preset styles. Select one to your liking.

Performing Actions on Multi Tab

Under Multi-Tab Display, all added tabs will be displayed, and you can add, delete, and sort these tabs.

1. Add a new tab.

To add a new tab, click Add Tab.

2. Duplicate a tab.

To duplicate a tab, click the  icon next to the tab. If you perform the action, all fields except Serial No. will be duplicated.

3. Delete a tab.

To delete a tab, click the  icon next to the tab. If you delete a tab, all fields within the tab will be moved out.

4. Sort tabs.

To sort tabs, drag an drop the  icon.

Adding Fields to a Tab

Drag fields needed from the left panel to the corresponding tab.

Notes

1. Only one Multi Tab field can be added per form. Note that the Multi Tab field cannot be dragged into a subform.

2. You can add up to 20 tabs to a Multi Tab field, but you must always keep at least two tabs.

3. When a tab is deleted, all fields within that tab will be moved out and reorganized in their original order.

4. A tab is invisible when:

  • All fields within the tab are invisible.
  • The tab contains no fields.

5. The Multi Tab field itself is not counted towards the total number of fields.
