Scope of this Privacy Policy
This privacy policy only applies to personal information collected by Jodoo on websites, products, and services that link to this policy. It does not apply to any other information collected by Jodoo through other means. For the convenience of our website visitors, we may provide links to other websites that do not fall under this privacy policy. These websites are not controlled by Jodoo, and Jodoo assumes no responsibility for the protection and privacy of any information you provide while visiting such websites.
Collection, Processing, Transmission, and Storage of Information
1. Legal Basis for Collecting and Using Information
Jodoo collects and uses user information in compliance with GDPR requirements. Jodoo promises that no matter where you choose to reside, your rights are protected equally under this policy.
2. Purposes for Which Jodoo Collects Personal Information
When we collect and process your personal information, we do so only under at least one of the following applicable conditions:
- You have explicitly consented to our collection and processing of your personal information.
- We need to use your personal information to comply with legal obligations.
- We need to use your personal information to fulfill our obligations under the contract we have with you and to provide you with tools and services.
- We have a legitimate interest in collecting and using your personal information. For example, using usage data, including your personal information, to improve our products and services aligns with our legitimate interests.

3. Types of Personal Information Jodoo Collects
- Contact Information: Name, employer, job title, email address, physical address, phone number, similar contact information, username, password, IP address, password hints, and similar security information used for authentication and account access.
- Payment and Financial Information: Company registration information, bank details, billing address, payment tool numbers (such as credit card numbers), and security codes associated with your payment tools.
- Demographic Information: Employment status, occupation, region, geographic data.
- Transaction and Registration Information: Information generated during transactions with Jodoo, including account information, login names, passwords, purchase history, product registration information, transaction details, and in some cases, student and teacher verification information.
- Third-Party Data: If you connect your Jodoo account to a third-party platform, we may receive your personal information from third-party vendors or partners, such as your name, username, or display name, public profile, and email address.
- User Behavior Data for Product Optimization: Jodoo uses collected user behavior data for analysis to better understand the technical environment in which the software is installed and user behavior within the product, thereby optimizing, supporting, and improving our products and services. This process may involve data transmission, during which our products may collect username information (which may include personal information).
- Cookies and Similar Technologies: Our website uses various software technologies, including cookies, web beacons, and pixel tags. Cookies are small text files that we and others may place on a visitor’s device to store their preferences. Web beacons can be used to count users visiting a webpage or to send cookies to browsers of visitors viewing the page. We use them for advertising purposes.
4. Consent and Withdrawal of Consent
Jodoo fully respects your voluntary provision of personal information and privacy to us and provides a way for you to withdraw that consent. You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time, but this will not affect any processing already conducted.
5. With Whom Jodoo Shares Your Information
Jodoo’s employees and affiliated companies, suppliers, and partners have the right to access the information mentioned above in specific situations. The sharing typically occurs in the following scenarios:
- Jodoo may share your personal information with your permission, including when you choose to use Jodoo to share information publicly or post it on our community website.
- Your information needs to be shared with suppliers and partners who act on behalf of Jodoo to provide you with services or inform you of promotional policies.
- When you connect to your third-party account through Jodoo, for the purpose of account verification.
- We may share your contact information and transaction information with our current or future affiliated companies, including parent companies, subsidiaries, joint ventures, or other companies under common control.
- We may disclose your personal information to comply with legal requirements, such as responding to court orders or subpoenas. We may also take action in response to requests from law enforcement agencies or when we believe illegal activities are involved, to investigate and verify.
- We may transfer or disclose your personal information for reasons related to the company itself. For example, in cases of mergers, financing, acquisitions, bankruptcy, or other similar situations, we may transfer or disclose your personal information to third parties. We may also share your personal information with our auditors, lawyers, or other consultants.
- If you register for or participate in Jodoo events, seminars, or webinars, Jodoo may share participant information (e.g., your name, company, and email address) with other participants, organizers, or hosts of the same event, seminar, or webinar to facilitate the event and subsequent exchanges of ideas.
Jodoo promises that in all situations involving the sharing of personal information mentioned above, Jodoo has signed confidentiality agreements with the third parties receiving the personal information, restricting them from accessing, using, and disclosing personal information according to this privacy policy and other relevant laws to jointly protect data security.
6. Retention and Destruction of Information
- Storage of Information: The data you store on Jodoo is hosted by AWS Cloud.
- Deletion and Destruction of Information: You can delete the application at any time. Once a user deletes it, all information hosted by Jodoo in the corresponding application will be immediately deleted. When you choose to stop using Jodoo’s products and services, the information retained in your account will be deleted accordingly. Information retained in dormant applications (i.e., applications inactive for more than 12 months in the account) may be deleted by Jodoo.
Children's Personal Information
Jodoo's websites, products, and services primarily aimed at corporate users and their employees (end users). Children are not allowed to create a Jodoo account without the consent of their guardians. If children's personal information is collected with prior consent from guardians, Jodoo will only use or disclose the data within the legal limits, with explicit consent from the guardian, or when necessary to protect the child.
If Jodoo accidentally collects children's personal information without prior consent from the guardian, Jodoo will attempt to delete the data as soon as possible.
How Jodoo Ensures the Security of Your Personal Information
Jodoo adopts tiered authorization management: when different departments share a system, each department has its own administrator to authorize its employees, with tiered administrators assigning permissions in their respective scopes. Unless the application creator or the administrator account owner explicitly grants access to other users, by default, only the application creator can access the application.
We have implemented reasonable and appropriate physical facilities, technical measures, and management systems to help protect your personal information. However, you should be aware that no company, including Jodoo, can eliminate information security risks. To ensure information security, we also need your cooperation. Please use strong passwords, do not use the same password for other accounts or services to access your Jodoo account, and protect your username and password to prevent unauthorized access to your account.
Cross-Border Transfer of Information
As a global company, the personal information collected by Jodoo may be processed or accessed in other countries/regions (such as the country/region where you use Jodoo’s products and services, or the country/region where Jodoo or its affiliates, subsidiaries, service providers, or business partners are located). We will protect information security during cross-border transfers through all possible physical facilities, technical means, and internal management systems. However, it should be noted that no measures can completely prevent information security risks. By agreeing to this policy, you acknowledge the potential risks associated with cross-border data transfers and consent to the cross-border flow of data under these circumstances.

Jodoo reserves the right to update this policy at any time in any manner. We will post the latest privacy policy on this page to reflect the changes.
