Designing a Form
Introduction
Feature(s)
Forms are used for data collection. Form designing is divided into three steps: adding fields, configuring field properties, and configuring form properties.
Application Scenario(s)
Forms can be applied in daily scenarios that require data to be filled in, such as data reporting, registration, application, and information collection.
Setting Procedure
There are three main steps to designing a form.
Adding Field(s)
To collect data and information, drag the required fields from the left field panel to the form. The field name refers to the name of the data that needs to be collected, and the field box is where the data will be filled in.
Setting Field Properties
You can select a field and set Field Properties. To optimize the data collection process, you can set Field Name, Description, Hint Text, Validation, Field Permissions (For workflow forms, field permissions are set in workflow nodes), Width, and so on.
Setting Form Properties
On the Form Properties panel, you can set Validations on form submission, Field Display Rules, Hidden Field Default Value, Form Cache, Multi-tab Display, Form Layout, Buttons, Form Public Link Style, and Front-End Event.
