Cross-App
Introduction
Feature(s)
The Cross-App feature supports data retrieval across apps. It allows you to retrieve data from one app in another app after choosing forms to be retrieved across apps.
Rule(s)
- Only forms/workflow forms can be selected in this feature.
- You can choose cross-app forms when setting data sources in dashboards (for Stats and Detail Tables) and Data Factory.
- In forms, features like Data Linkage, Formula, Query Data, and Select Data support cross-app forms.
- Cross-app forms cannot be used in aggregate tables.
- Automations can trigger cross-app forms.
- When setting forms on the Cross-App page, you can only select forms in apps with management permissions.

Setting Procedure
Where to Set
Select an app, go to App Management > Cross-App, and tick forms in apps as required.
Demonstration
You can select the forms that have been ticked in Cross-App when selecting data sources in forms, dashboards, and Data Factory. Here is an example of selecting data sources in a dashboard:

You have to obey the rules mentioned above when selecting cross-app forms as data sources. For details, see the section "Rule(s)".
