Introduce how to manage members in an organization.

What are Members?

Members are employees in a company. A member can belong to multiple departments.

How to Manage Members?

Here are some actions you can take to manage your members in an organization.

Inviting Member(s)

You can invite members directly to Jodoo in the following three ways:

  • Add

  • Import

  • Invite by Link

Managing Inactive Member(s)

To reduce the cost of investigating the work content that an inactive employee is responsible for and the replacement cost of job handover, you can complete work handover through Handover and then deactivate the employee.

1. Handover

Hand over the work of members who are inactive or going to be inactive to other approvers.

You can also hand over the work after deactivating a member. Tick the member, and go to Deactivate > Handover to hand over tasks.

Note:

If you tick multiple members in Members and click Deactivate, you will not be allowed to click Handover, and you can only click Deactivate in the pop-up window.

Select Handover, and you can hand over the current work and permissions of the member, including:

  • Tasks

  • Roles

  • Workflow Approver

  • Forms/Dashboards

2. Deactivate a member.

You can deactivate the member after handing over work. Members who have been deactivated will be in the Inactive Members list.

Note:

Members who have not joined the company yet will not be on the Inactive Members list after being deactivated.

Modifying Member Information

1. By admins.

Click the single record of a member to view details and click Edit to modify information such as Dept. and Roles in Contacts.

2. By members.

If Allow Name Changes is enabled, members can modify their names.

Members can edit their personal information in My Profile.

Adjusting Department(s)

When the structure or positions of members change in a company/team, you can adjust the departments of members.

Department members can be adjusted directly in Contacts of Jodoo as follows.
