What is Sharing Link for a Record?
When you enable Share Link for a Record, it allows a record that has been collected via a form to be shared with individuals outside of your organization.
In some scenarios, you may need non-member users to update or complete some missing information.
Scenario Name | Problem Statement | Problem Solving |
Customer Information Collection | If a customer's information is incomplete, how can the salesperson request the customer to complete specific field data? | The salesperson can send this link to the customer, allowing them to access the form directly and complete the missing information. |

How to Create a One-Record-Share Link
Step 1 Enabling Share Link for a Record
Select a form, go to Publish > To All, enable Share Link for a Record, and click Permission Configuration.
In Permission Configuration, you can set which fields can be viewed or edited by external members when they access a record through the public link.
Step 2 Sharing the Public Link
To share the public link:
Admins: go to Manage Data, select a record, and click
.
Members: switch to the correct permission set, select a record, and click
.
