What is Importing Attachments in Batches?
With the Import Attachment feature under Batch Actions, you can batch import attachments and images into the Attachment and Image fields respectively.
This feature applies to the scenario where you need to build various basic information databases in Jodoo, such as employee, product, and customer databases. These databases typically contain attachments, images, and other information. In this case, you batch import them into Jodoo.

How to Import Attachments in Batches?
Step 1 Accessing a Form
Select the Employee Information form, and then go to Manage Data.
Step 2 Importing Attachment
1. Select the data to be imported.
Method one: To import attachments, click Manage Data > Batch Actions > Import Attachments. You can import attachments either for filtered data or for all data.
Method two: On the Manage Data page, tick the records for which you need to import attachments, and then click Import Attachments.
2. Set the imported field.
Imported Field refers to the field into which you import attachments. For example, select Photo as the imported field in the Employee Information form. Then you can import photos into the field.
Note:
Imported Field supports two types of fields in a form: Attachment and Image.
3. Set data matching rule.
Under the Attachment & Data Matching Rule, specify the attachment name to enable the system to match the attachments to be imported with the data in the form. For example, for the Employee Information form, you select the Name field and select No Suffix. By doing so, the system will import attachments whose names correspond to the values of the Name field (excluding the suffix).
Note:
1. The field you select for Attachment Name should be the Single Line field in a form. Other fields are not supported now.
2. If you want to import multiple attachments into one record, add suffixes at the end of their names, such as Apple-(1).jpg, Apple-(2).jpg.
4. Upload attachments.
Directly drag attachments into the upload area, or click click to upload to select the attachments to be imported. Then click Next.
Note:
1. Max number of imported attachments: 1,000. Max size: 1 GB.
2. You can upload attachments multiple times, and select multiple attachments to be uploaded.
3. Imported attachments must meet the validation conditions for format, size, and quantity in the attachment and image fields.
5. Match data.
a. After you import attachments, a pop-up window will appear. It informs you about the number of records that have been successfully matched with attachments.
b. In the following three cases, attachment matching will be abnormal.
The attachment does not match data.
The attachment matches multiple records.
The data matched by the attachment is associated with more than N attachments.
To solve the problem, copy the name of the failed attachment to identify the cause of the failure.
Note:
1. By default, the value of N (which refers to the number of images/attachments) is set to ten in Jodoo. However, if you have configured a specific limit on the number of images/attachments that can be uploaded on the form-designing page, then N will correspond to the limit you have set.
2. If an error occurred during the importing process, click Previous to go back to the previous step and reselect attachments. You can also continue with the import process even if errors occurred. In this case, only the attachments that were successfully matched with the corresponding records will be imported into Jodoo.
6. Import attachments.
a. After data matching is completed, click Complete to complete the import of attachments.
b. If the imported files are too large, click View detailed import progress during the import process to check the progress of the file import.
Step 3 Viewing Import Records
1. View details in History.
Click a record to access the data details page, and then view the details of data modification under History.
2. View details in File Uploads.
To check the attachment upload volume, go to Management > Basic Info > Plan Details > File Uploads.
3. View details in Messages.
To check the attachment import records, go to Messages > Data.
4. View details in App Logs.
To view the attachment import records, go to Management > Audit Trail > App Logs > Type, and set the operation type as Import Attachments
5. View details in History (Manage Data)
To view the attachment import records, go to History > Attachment Import History.
