The Transfer function means transferring a workflow to another member to handle.

In some workflows, a workflow initiator can select an approver to handle a workflow. If the initiator selects the wrong approver, or the approver responsible can not handle the workflow on time for some reason, the workflow can be transferred to another one.

Take the Problem–Solving Request form as an example: In the Translation department, Peach is responsible for tasks A and B, and Melon tasks C and task D. When the initiator in a workflow wrongly selects Peach as the approver to handle task C, Peach can transfer the task to the right approver (Melon).

Add a Member field, and set Field Name and Available Options. Take the Problem–Solving Request workflow form as an example. A workflow initiator can select different members from the Translation department for workflow approval according to their duties.

After designing a workflow form, you need to design a workflow.

Go to Auto-assign > Member field, and tick Approver that you add when you design the workflow form. In this way, when a workflow initiator initiates the workflow, the workflow will be assigned to the approvers in the Translation department.

The initiator may not know what a member's duties are in the Translation department, and select the wrong approver. In the scenario, you can set Transfer at a node to avoid the mistake. If you receive workflows that you are not responsible for, you can transfer the workflow to the right approver.

If you receive a workflow that you are not responsible for, you can click Transfer to transfer the workflow to the right approver.
