Learn how to set data alert

What does it Look Like?

If you set an alert, recipients will be alerted at the alert time when the data reaches the alert point. For example, recipients will receive reminders sent by the system as follows:

Recipients can click View details to check the alerted data.


How to Set up?

Step 1 Editing the Dashboard

Select the dashboard to be edited, click the settings button on the right, and select Edit from the drop-down list.

Then select a chart to enter the editing page.

Step 2 Adding an Alert

When designing the chart, you can go to Settings > Data Alert to add an alert.

Data alert settings include the following:

Description

Alert Title

An alert title makes an alert recognizable so that users can distinguish which dashboard the alert is coming from.

Alert Condition

All added measure fields can be added. Alert messages will be sent when the alert conditions are met.

Time

When the alert time is reached, dashboard alerts will be pushed to recipients. Alert time can be set by the specific time of a day, week, or month.

Recipients

You can select recipients from departments, roles, and members.

Method

More to Know

  1. A maximum of five alerts can be set for each chart.

  2. The number of alerts that can be sent for each enterprise is 1,000 each day, and alerts exceeding the limit will not be sent. The business owner will receive SMSs/emails/in-site alerts and the system administrator will receive in-site notifications.

  3. When alert conditions are met, the measured value will be marked in red.

  4. The supported chart types include Indicator, Pivot Table, Line Chart, Column Chart, Combo Chart, Bar Chart, Scatter Chart, and Bubble Chart in the dashboard, and the option for Access in the chart should be All Form Data.
