What is a Member/Department Filter?
Types of department and member fields filtered in a dashboard include Member, Members, Department, Departments, and Created User(system field).
When you need to filter data based on departments or members from the contact, you can add department/member fields as filtered fields.

Adding a Filter Component
Go to a dashboard and click Edit:
Then add a filter component above the chart Student Roster:

1. Configure a filter component
Select a chart to be filtered, for example, in Basic Information of Teachers, select the Member field Teacher Name, and the filter relations include equals, not equal to, equals to any, not equal to any, is empty, and is not empty.
The filter value allows the Current User. When the current user is set as the filter value, members can quickly view data related to themselves when visiting the dashboard.
