System Language allows admins to set the default display language of the interface, such as navigation bar, system buttons and notifications.
Note: User-customized content (such as department names, form names, field names, etc.) is not affected by this setting.
Admins can unify the default display language according to the enterprise’s working language.
Note: The actual language displayed to a user may be affected by personal language settings, system language, or specific usage scenarios.
Expected Result
After setting the system language to English, the Jodoo interface, including the navigation bar and system buttons, will be displayed in English.
How to set it up
System admins or creators can click Avatar >> Management >> Business Settings, and switch the default language under System Language. Supported language options include:
Bahasa Indonesia
Deutsch
English

ภาษาไทย
ភាសាខ្មែរ

Note: When creating an enterprise, the System Language is initialized to the current browser language by default.
Language Display Rules
Language Types
Jodoo supports three types of language settings. In most cases, the interface prioritizes personal language settings for member convenience.
Language Setting | Description | Setting Location |
Personal Language | A member’s personalized setting, allowing them to switch the interface language as needed. | Can be switched in Avatar >> Language.
|
System Language | The enterprise’s unified default interface language, based on the working environment. | Set by system administrators/creators in Management >> System Language |
Underlying Language | The base language of Jodoo interface (English). In scenarios where neither personal nor system language can be determined, the interface defaults to the underlying language. | Fixed and not visible or editable. |
Note: When members register and join Jodoo, their personal language option is preset to their current browser language.
Display Priority
The language displayed on the interface depends on the usage scenario. The rules are as follows:
Scenario | Display Priority (the system selects the highest available language in order) | Example |
Using Jodoo after login | Personal Language > System Language > Underlying Language | When using Automation Pro to auto-print documents, if the template contains system fields (e.g., printer, workflow status) and personal language is unavailable, the system will display in the System Language (e.g., English). |
Jodoo login/registration pages | Login Page Language > Browser Language > Underlying Language
| —— |
External link access (including data sharing links, form filling links, public query links, dashboard public links) | Browser Language > Underlying Language | When filling a form via an external link, if the browser language is English, the system submit button will display in English. |
Special Scenario |
|
|
When adding/deleting departments or members, the system automatically sends email notifications to new recipients. | System Language | Sending an email notification to Hany when the system language is set to English. |
Note: If a user customizes system content (e.g., renaming the default Submit button), the displayed language will follow the user input and will not follow the above rules.
