Data Editing & Deletion FAQ

Updated this week

Q: Can I edit data directly like in Excel?

Yes. In the table view, if the admin has enabled the Quick Edit feature, you can edit data directly in the table, similar to Excel.

Q: Can I delete or modify data if I entered it incorrectly?

Yes. Depending on the form type:

  • Regular Forms: If you have “Delete” or “Edit” permissions, you can delete or modify the submitted data.

  • Workflow Forms: In addition to delete/edit actions, if you find an error after initiating the workflow, you can withdraw the workflow, correct the data, and resubmit.

Note:

If you cannot find the relevant buttons, you may lack the necessary permissions, or the admin has not enabled the withdrawal feature.

Q: Why don’t I see the delete button when viewing or selecting data? Why can’t I delete data?

You do not have permission to delete form data. To resolve this:

  • Check if your current permission group has “Delete” rights.

  • If not, switch to a group that does.

Q: What should I do if I accidentally deleted important data?

Only admins can perform data recovery. Please contact your admin for assistance.
