Starting from April 21, 2026, Jodoo will gradually upgrade and migrate legacy aggregate tables to the new version, providing more powerful features and easier management. Below is a detailed overview of the upgrade plan and compatibility measures.
Upgrade Plan
During the upgrade period, the system will automatically migrate eligible legacy aggregate tables in batches to the new version.
After the upgrade, the execution results of the new aggregate tables will remain consistent with the legacy version. Users will see an upgrade success notification within the product.
Some aggregate tables that cannot be migrated automatically will be temporarily retained. Users can refer to the Upgrade Assistant documentation for manual migration, or wait for future compatibility solutions.
Compatibility Measures
After the upgrade, the following situations may occur. Users can adjust configurations as needed:
1. Automatic Simplification of Metric Formulas
In legacy aggregate tables, metric formulas that include unnecessary variables (added or subtracted to meet configuration requirements) will be automatically simplified during the upgrade.
The simplified result may appear as 0 * COUNT(x), which does not affect usage. Users can choose to keep or manually remove this expression.
2. Invalid Variables Replaced with 0 in Validation Conditions
If a metric used in validation conditions has been deleted, it becomes an invalid variable.
During the upgrade:
The original validation conditions will be retained.
Invalid variables within these conditions will be replaced with 0.
3. “Upgrade Version” Label
Some legacy aggregate tables may exceed limits in data sources, dimensions, or filter conditions, making seamless migration impossible.
In such cases, an aggregate table labeled “Upgrade Version” will be generated.
This version ensures compatibility with legacy logic while maintaining normal functionality.
Note:
When copying aggregate tables within an app, copying apps within the enterprise, or installing apps via external links, the copied aggregate table will become a standard aggregate table. But it must be reconfigured correctly before performing a full calculation.
4. Upgrade Metrics
If redundant data source forms exist, an additional metric called “Upgrade Metric” will be added to assist with the upgrade.
This does not affect normal usage. Users can delete the metric if not needed or remove redundant data source forms as prompted.
