Managing Tags in Automations Pro

What Are Tags in Automations Pro?

The tag feature allows you to add custom tags to automations in Automations Pro. You can filter automations by tag to quickly locate the automation you need.

This helps organization admins manage similar automations more efficiently and accurately, reducing the risk of missed updates and issues during team handovers.


When to Use This Feature?

This feature is suitable for organizations that need to manage multiple automations in Automations Pro.

How to Manage Tags?

Step 1 Creating and Adding Tags

1.Adding a Tag When Creating an Automation

When creating an automation in Automations Pro, click Add Tag under Tag. Enter a tag name and press Enter to create and apply the tag.

2. Adding a Tag from an Automation Card

Go to Extension > Automations or App Management > Automations. On the automation card, click Add Tag, enter a tag name, and press Enter to create and apply the tag.

The following example shows how to create and apply a tag under Extension > Automations:

3. Adding Tags in Batch

1) Go to App Management > Automations and click Batch Add Tags. Select the automations you want to tag, choose the appropriate tag, and click Add.

2) If no suitable tag is available, enter a new tag name and press Enter to create and apply it.

Step 2 Renaming a Tag

To rename a tag, go to App Management > Automations, click theicon next to the tag, and select Rename.

Enter the new tag name and click Edit to save the change.

Step 3 Deleting a Tag

Before deleting a tag, make sure that it is no longer needed and that its deletion will not affect your organization’s business operations.

Go to App Management > Automations, click the icon next to the tag, and select Delete. In the confirmation dialog, click Delete again.


Notes

  1. Each app can have up to 30 tags.

  2. Each automation can have up to five tags.
