Confirmation on Form Submission

What is Confirmation?

Confirmation helps improve the accuracy of data entry. When members submit a form, a confirmation dialog appears with a customizable message. The form is submitted only after the member confirms the submission, helping prevent accidental submissions, data entry errors, and other unintended operations.

When to Use Confirmation?

  • Preventing accidental submissions: In forms used for frequent data entry, members may click Submit before they finish entering data. Enabling Confirmation helps prevent incomplete data from being submitted accidentally.

  • Production planning: Prompt members to verify the production quantity before submission, preventing incorrect quantities from affecting subsequent production scheduling.

  • Personal information collection: Prompt members to verify important information, such as passport/ID numbers and bank account details, before submission, reducing the need for corrections and resubmissions.

What Does It Look Like?

Take production planning as an example. When a member submits a production plan, a confirmation dialog appears, prompting them to verify the production quantity before proceeding.

How to Set Confirmation?

Access

Open the form design page and go to Form Properties > On Form Submission > Confirmation. Enable Confirmation to configure the settings.

Settings

After enabling Confirmation, customize the Title and Message as needed.

For example, in a production planning scenario, you may want members to verify the production quantity before submitting the form to prevent errors.

You can configure the confirmation message as follows:

  • Title: Please Confirm the Production Quantity

  • Message: Confirm the planned quantity for 【Product Name】: 【Planned Production Quantity】 【Unit】.

Notes

  1. Workflow forms currently do not support Confirmation on form submission.

  2. If a member clicks Cancel in the confirmation dialog, they will return to the form with the entered data retained. They can modify the data and submit the form again.
