What is the Mailchimp Plugin?
Mailchimp is a marketing automation platform designed to help small businesses. the Mailchimp plugin can help you integrate Jodoo with Mailchimp to automatically send new leads, customers, and subscribers to your mailing lists.
The Mailchimp plugin helps you add and update contacts in your Mailchimp email lists with the customer information collected in Jodoo forms.
You can use this plugin to:
- Add new subscribers to your email lists
- Update existing subscriber data
- Add contacts
- Add tags to members
How to Connect Your Mailchimp to Jodoo Using the Plugin?
Step 1: Install the plugin
Follow the steps to install the plugin:
- Click here to visit the Market.
- Search for the Mailchimp plugin.
- Open the Mailchimp plugin, and click the Install button in the popped-out window to install it.

Step 2: Connect your Mailchimp account and audience
To properly connect and transfer subscriber data on your account, go to the Plugin page, and click 
What are the required parameters?
The required parameters are the information you need from Mailchimp to connect your server, account and audience. You can log in to your Mailchimp account to find the required parameters.
Parameter | Description |
API Key | A unique series of characters that are included in a request to verify that the requesting system is allowed to communicate with the receiving system. Go to your Mailchimp Profile > Extras > API keys to Create A Key. After clicking Generate Key, you can Copy Key to Clipboard and paste it to Jodoo. For the detailed guide, read About API Keys. |
Server Prefix | After logging into your Mailchimp account, look at the URL in your browser. You’ll see something like https://us19.admin.mailchimp.com/; the us19 part is the server prefix. Note that your specific value may be different. |

What can you do with the Mailchimp Plugin?
Here are the available options:
Get member info: Get contact details for the specific subscriber, including the subscriber's Name, Address, Phone Number, Tags, and Status.

Audience ID | Yes | Each Mailchimp audience group has a unique audience ID (sometimes called a list ID) that integrations, plugins, and widgets require to connect and transfer subscriber data. Under Audience, find Audience dashboard, go to Manage Audience > Settings. And the Unique Audience ID for your current audience is at the bottom of this page. Email Address | Yes | The subscriber's email address in the contact information. |
Response Parameters
Parameter | Description |
Name | Get the subscriber's full name in the contact information, including the first name and last name. |
Address | Get the subscriber's address in the contact information. |
Phone | Get the subscriber's phone number in the contact information. |
Tags | Get the subscriber's tags. |
Status | Get the subscriber's status, including subscribed, unsubscribed, non-subscribed, cleaned, pending, or archived. |
Add or update member: Add a new subscriber or update contact information for an existing subscriber, including First Name, Last Name, and Tags.

Trigger customer journey: You can use Journey and Step IDs to trigger a journey made by Customer Journeys API for subscribers.

Journey ID | Yes | The four-digit number string followed after the journeys in the URL provided by the Customer Journeys API. |
