The head of a department is the person in charge of the department.
Application Scenario(s)
You mainly set the Head of a department in the workflow approval process, which requires setting the head as the Auto-assign approver.
Preview
Members who have been set as Head will have a mark to display Head after their nickname.
Setting Procedure
Setting a Head
Click Contacts, select a department, and click Set Department Head to set a Head.
Setting Node Approver
When you set the workflow, select the node that needs to be configured as an approver, and then set Head as Approver.
Notes
1. When setting Head as the Auto-assign approver, you must first set Head in Contacts.
2. Description of department heads at all levels is as follows:
- Direct Department Head: Direct Department Head is who belongs to the same level of organizational structure as members.
- Head of Supervising Department: Head of Supervising Department is located above the member's organizational structure.
- Level 3 Department Head: and so on
- Level 4 Department Head: and so on
- Level 5 Department Head: and so on
