Deleting and Recovering Fields
Introduction
Feature(s)
In app management, you may delete fields by mistake. If a field is deleted, the field data will also be deleted. To help you restore field data more conveniently and quickly, Jodoo offers the Field Recycle feature. After deleting a field, you can click Field Recycle to restore the field data or completely delete the field data.
Application Scenario(s)
- In designing a form, you may delete a field by mistake, and you need to restore the field and its data.
- Sometimes you have to delete fields and their data permanently for data security.

Plan Description
1. Field Recycle is an advanced feature. For details, see Understand Your Account Usage and Limits.
2. Fields can be retained in the recycle bin for 45 days.
Setting Procedure
Where to Set
1. On the Design page, click Field Recycle.
2. In Field Recycle, you can view the information involved in the deleted fields.
- Field Name
- Deleted User
- Deleted Time
Recovering Deleted Field(s)
You can recover the deleted fields in a form in the following two ways:
1. Recover one field.
In Field Recycle, click , and click OK to recover a field. The recovered field will be placed at the bottom of the form.
2. Batch recover fields.
In Field Recycle, tick the fields you need to recover, and click Recover > OK to batch recover fields. The recovered fields will be placed at the bottom of the form.
Note:
For the recovered fields, of all field properties, only their field names and data are retained.
Deleting Field(s) Permanently
You can permanently delete the fields in a form in the following two ways:
1. Delete one field permanently.
In Field Recycle, click , and then click OK to delete a field permanently.
2. Batch delete fields permanently.
In Field Recycle, tick the fields you need to delete, and click Delete Permanently > OK to batch delete the ticked fields permanently.
Clearing Field Recycle
In Field Recycle, click Clear Recycle Bin > OK to delete all the fields in Field Recycle permanently.
