Number

Introduction

The Number field supports adding data related to numbers such as price, age, and quantity. Unlike the text field, you can use the Number field to calculate and aggregate data.

Format

There are two kinds of formats: Numeric and Percentage.

When the format is Numeric, you can select Number of Decimal Places or Display thousand separator. For example, set Display thousand separator for data with long numbers like price to better identify and distinguish them.

When the format is Percentage, you can select Number of Decimal Places. Numbers calculated by a formula need to set Number of Decimal Places.

When you set the field format to percentage, you can directly enter the numeric part before the percentage. Data calculated by formulas will be converted to a percentage format.

Initial Value

It refers to the default value displayed when users visit a form. You can set Custom, Data Linkage, and Formula in Initial Value.

Validation

You can set Required or Value range in Validation.

Note(s)

A maximum of 16 digits can be added in the Number field.

If you need to enter numbers with more than 16 digits, like a bank card number, you can use the Single Line field. Otherwise, the complete data cannot be entered.
