Solutions for Limit Exceeding
Introduction
Introduction to Limit Exceeding
There are two scenarios of limit exceeding: usage limit exceeding and feature limit exceeding.
- Usage limit exceeding: The quantity of features applied in the current plan exceeds the limit.
- Feature limit exceeding: The features applied in the current plan exceed the limit.
Scenario(s) of Limit Exceeding
The scenarios that may trigger the system limit exceeding reminders are as follows:
- A limit-exceeding reminder will be triggered when the feature/usage reaches the upper limit of the current plan.
- The installed app templates that exceed the current plan's feature/usage upper limit will trigger a limit exceeding reminder when the template trial is expired.
- When the paid plan is expired and is downgraded to the free plan, a limit exceeding reminder will be triggered because the usage or features used by the paid plan exceeds the upper limit of the free one.
System Usage View
Usage View
Sign in to Jodoo as an owner, click the avatar, and then click Management > Plan Details. If any feature limit exceeds, there will be a Limit Exceeded sign in the upper left corner of the feature.
Feature Reminder
Regardless of which scenario causes the system overrun reminder, you can access the Plan Details page by clicking View Usage to view the system usage.
Solution(s) for Usage Limit Exceeding
Non-Payment Solution(s)
The main solution for non-payment is to reduce the usage of features involving usage limits exceeding a limited amount.
1. Select the overloaded feature and click View Details to see which apps use the feature and how much they use it.
2. Take Data Factory as an example. Click View on the details page of this app, go to the Advanced Features page, and delete the data factories you do not need.
3. If you return to the Plan Details page after deleting the outdated data factory from the apps, you will see that the Limit Exceeded sign has disappeared.
Payment Solution(s)
Take Aggregate Tables as an example. If you receive a usage limit exceeding reminder about Aggregate Tables, click Upgrade Now to go to the Contact Sales page, and submit the form to know the price.
Solutions for Feature Limit Exceeding
For example, the Signature feature is not available in the free plan but in the paid plan.
After we use the Signature feature during the 15-day trial period, it expires, so the app displays the following message:
Solutions:
- Upgrade the plan.
- Delete the Signature field in the form.
Supplement to the Grace Period Rule(s)
1. For accounts of different plans, you can install app templates that exceed the plan limit. There is a trial period of 15 days for each app, and the trial period starts when you install this app.
2. When the system usage of a feature reaches or exceeds the limit, reminders will be sent via pop-up alerts and email:
- When the usage of advanced features reaches or exceeds limits, actions towards these features will be restricted:
- When the usage reaches the limit, admins will be prohibited from adding any new advanced features that exceed the limit.
- When the usage exceeds the limit, admins will be prohibited from editing, adding, or copying any advanced features that exceed the limit.
- If the number of enabled users or the total data volume exceeds the plan limits, the account will enter a buffer period. During the buffer period, logging into the system will prompt an upgrade reminder. Once the buffer period days reach 0, the system will be deactivated.
Buffer Period Days: Set to 15 days by default. Each time the account enters the buffer period, at least 1 day will be consumed. If the buffer period exceeds 1 day but is less than 2 days, it will be considered as cosuming 2 days, and so on. When the remaining days reach 0, the account will be disabled.
3. After the system is deactivated, members trying to access it will receive a deactivation notice. No forms will be displayed, and all apps will be unusable. In this scenario, you can restore the free plan by reducing the usage of the limit-exceeding features to within the plan constraints.
