Introduction

Functions

Form Fill Link, a way to collect external data, is a public external link of a form. Users can fill and submit the form without logging in.

Application Scenarios

Use the Form Fill Link function in the following scenarios:

Published to external users. Questionnaire survey, fan voting, customer satisfaction survey.
Published to internal members. Anonymous voting and anonymous employee satisfaction survey.

Users can fill and submit a form without logging in through Form Fill Link.

Setting Procedure

Enabling Public Fill Link

Go to Publish > To All > Form Fill Link and enable the link.

Publishing Form Fill Link

Click Copy, Open, or download the QR code to open the link. External users can fill the form by opening the link or scanning the QR code.

Advanced

There are two aspects in Advanced:

URL Parameter: add URL Parameter to the link to mark different data sources.
Embed Link: support to embed Form Fill Link and Public Query Link into web pages to avoid information disclosure.

1. URL Parameter

a. Click Advanced > URL Parameter, toggle on the switch, and add the corresponding URL parameter.

b. Admins can know the source of data submitted through URL Parameter in Manage Data.

2. Embed Link

Click Advanced > Embed Link to embed relevant codes into web pages.

Password

After toggling on the switch and setting a password, users need to enter the password before filling the form.

Notes

1. Form Fill Link does not validate identities and permissions. So functions related to the information of users are unavailable. .

Anyone can open external links whatever platforms are after toggling on the switch.
The Department and Member fields cannot be used in external links.
Initiator in workflows cannot be used in external links. Other workflow functions can be used normally.
The GETUSERNAME() function cannot be used in external links.
Data permissions of forms and dashboards cannot be used in external links.

2. Some functions related to transfer the platform also cannot be used in external links.

QR code is unavailable.
Exporting data to excel is unavailable.
The Allowing uploading with taking photos only and Compress the size of each image functions in the Image field are unavailable.

4. The logo of Jodoo in the bottom of Form Fill Link cannot be deleted in the free version. Deleting Jodoo logo is a paid feature. For details, see Understand Your Account Usage and Limits.
