Introduction

Feature(s)

The Button field can be used to bind complex business events, and you can trigger the corresponding action when you click the field.

Field Properties

For basic settings in Field Properties, see Fields.

Button Text

The default display text of the button field is Button. Select the button field, click Field Properties > Button Text, then you can customize the display text, which is up to 50 characters.

Button Style

Button Style includes button Style and Color. Click Button in Field Properties > Button Style to customize the style of the button.

Triggered Action

Triggered Action refers to the corresponding operation in the form after you click the field.

1. Click Settings in Field Properties > Triggered Action and click Add Action on the Triggered Action page.

2. When you set Triggered Action, Field that triggers the event is fixed as Button and other settings are the same as the settings of front-end events. When setting front-end events, you can also select the corresponding button fields in Trigger.

Note(s)

1. The button field does not support Formula and Validations on form submission.

2. The button field cannot be selected as a condition when you set field display rules, but you can set it as a display field.

3. Button fields can be added in subforms. Configuration rules of these button fields in subforms are consistent with those of button fields in the form.

4. The button field cannot be displayed or used in Record Title, Result Page, Print Templates (system printing template, printing form, custom printing), Webhook, Automations, Data Factory, and Aggregate Tables.
