Current Version: 6.7.0
Business Process
Note:
The optimization in workflow here is only available for the new version of the workflow. Users of former versions need to migrate data before they can use the workflows. In the future, Jodoo will gradually migrate the workflow data of former versions to new ones for the existing users.
Supporting Workflow Withdrawal for All Nodes
In Ver.6.7.0, workflows can be withdrawn at all nodes. Go to Workflow > Workflow Properties > Workflow Withdrawal Rules, you can select from the following three withdrawal rules:
- Withdrawals not allowed
- Only the start node allowed
- All nodes allowed
If you selected All nodes allowed , and the approvers of the second Approval node haven't approved workflow, the approvers of the first Approval node can withdraw the submitted workflow. For details, see Workflow Cancelling.
Take an example of business trip approval. The supervisor approved the application but later found that the data were incorrect. To avoid affecting the attendance calculation, the supervisor needs to re-approve the application before the manager approves. Supervisor can withdraw the workflow in the Processed and disapprove it.
Supporting Re–activating Workflows at Any Node
In Ver.6.7.0, workflows can be re–activated at any completed node:
- After the workflow that is withdrawn/returned after submission is directly closed, it can be re–activated at Start Node or any other node;
- When a workflow is re–activated multiple times, subsequent nodes' flow records will not be cleared, and it can be re–activated at any node.
In the case of business trip application, a workflow that has already been approved needs to be re–activated at the Approval node for re-approval due to business reasons. If the Start Node is mistakenly selected during re–activating, workflow can be shut down and re–activated at any Approval node. This can improve work efficiency by saving you time from restarting workflows.
