What is the Department?
A department is a composition or a unit of a whole team. One department can have multiple sub-departments. One company can only have one biggest department.

How to Set a Department?
Here are some actions you can take to manage your department.
Adding Sub-Departments
Select the main department that needs to add sub-departments in Contacts > Members and click Add Sub-departments.
Note:
There is only one biggest department (the company). You can add sub-departments under it.
Renaming Departments
The name of a department can be, at most, 50 characters.
Deleting Departments
Before deleting a department, make sure these conditions are met:
Move all members out of the department first
If there are still members in the department, you will see this message: "This department contains members and cannot be deleted."
Removing members from the department only removes them from that department. It does not delete them from "All Members."Remove or move all sub-departments first
If the department still has sub-departments, you will see this message: "This department has sub-departments and cannot be deleted."
Notes:
Deleting a department will also delete its related permission settings.
This action cannot be undone.
How to delete a department
Go to the Department settings page, select the target department, then click
>Delete.
Setting Department Head
The department head can be used in scenarios like Auto-assign.
Sorting Departments
You can drag and drop to sort departments.
Note:
Admins can only sort departments within their permissions.
When to Manage the Department?
You can set the following aspects in the structure of the department.
Add Sub-departments.
Set Department Head.
