What is the Image Field?
The Image field is an advanced form field used to upload images. The supported image formats include JPG, JPEG, PNG, and GIF. You can use the Image field to upload product images, collect data on equipment failure in the case of equipment maintenance, or collect invoice files when there are reimbursement requests. Here is what it looks like and where to set it up.

You can select, drag and drop, copy images, or scan the QR code to upload images on a PC.

Enter the form designing page, click/drag and drop the Image field, and then configure it in Field Properties.
Initial Value
There are two types of initial values for the Image field.
None: The initial value is empty.
Data Linkage: By setting up Data Linkage, the data in other forms that meet certain conditions will be automatically retrieved and filled into the Image field. Click here to see more details.
Uploading via Photos Only
By default, the Image field supports two upload methods: taking a photo and selecting from local files.
If you need to restrict the upload method to camera-only, you can tick Upload via photos only. And then, users can only upload images by taking a photo with their mobile device’s camera.
Note:
Upload via photos only feature is supported under the following conditions:
When accessing the form via external links (e.g., form submission link, shared record link): the feature is only effective in WeChat environments;
When accessing the form via internal links (e.g., permission groups, data access links): the feature is supported in WeChat Official Account, WeChat Mini Program, WeCom, DingTalk, Feishu (Lark) Mobile App.

Compress Images Automatically
Images will be uploaded by default at their original size. If you need to compress the image size, tick Compress images automatically.
Adding a Watermark
When Upload via photos only is enabled, the image field additionally supports a watermark feature that applies automatically when users take photos. Date and submitter can be automatically embedded as watermarks on the photo.
Notes:
1. The “Add a Watermark” option is only available after “Upload via photos only” is enabled.
2. When submitting forms via external links (e.g., form submission links, shared record links), the watermark feature is not supported and will not be applied.
3. In all platforms except DingTalk integration mode, the watermark will not be visible until the photo is uploaded successfully.
4. When used within WeChat or WeCom, the platform will automatically compress image size upon upload.

Uploading Only One Image
By default, an Image field allows users to upload up to 10 images.
If your scenario requires restricting uploads to only one image, you can enable the setting: Upload only one image.
Limiting the Size of Each Image
When uploading images, the default maximum size for a single image is 20 MB. If you need to limit the size of the image uploaded in this field, tick Limit the size of each image and input the customized size in the input box. After the settings, members can only upload images within the size limit when filling out the form.
Changing the Display Order of Uploaded Images
When adding or editing records, you can sort uploaded images by dragging and dropping them. The images will be displayed in the set order.
More to Know
A maximum of 10 images can be uploaded to an Image field.
To use the Upload via photos only and Compress images automatically features on the Feishu mobile app, the client version must be 4.11 or higher.
