What is a Text Component?

In a Text component in dashboards, texts are displayed and can be edited.

Using a Text component, you can give descriptions for data analysis and customize the title


What does it Look Like?

When you need to add text to a dashboard, you can add a Text component and customize the text.


How to Set up?

Step 1 Adding a Text Component

Select a dashboard, click Edit, and drag a Text component into the palette from the left panel.

Step 2 Editing Texts

You can complete the following settings for texts: Bold, Italic, Underline, Paragraph, Font Color, Font Size, Link, and Unlink.

Step 3 Adjusting Size

You can adjust the size of the text box.

Width: 20/60 rows, Height: 15 grids

Width: 4/60 rows, Height: 3 grids

Width: 60/60 rows, Height: 60 grids

Mobile

Width: 6/6 rows, Height: 4 grids

Width: 3/6 rows, Height: 1 grid

Width: 6/6 rows, Height: 10 grids

Step 4 Adding Links

If you need to go to other pages when viewing a dashboard, you can add to a text a Link.

Users can click the text, and jump to the new page.

Step 5 Setting Component Background

To make the style of the Text component consistent with the rest of the dashboard, you can set the background colors or images

Note:

At most 500 strings can be added to Text.
