How to Adjust Field Visibility and Display Order?

Why Use This Feature?

When viewing data tables, you may encounter the following situations:

  • The default permission group or view configured by the admins includes fields irrelevant to your current task.

  • In specific scenarios, you only need to focus on a subset of fields.

  • You prefer to organize information in a particular order for easier analysis and decision-making.

To address these issues, you can adjust field visibility and customize the display order to suit your workflow. This guide provides detailed steps to improve your data viewing experience and efficiency.


How to Set Field Visibility?

Option 1 Setting on the Form Toolbar

1. Click the Display Fields button on the toolbar.

2. In the list that appears, check the fields you want to display. Fields that are unchecked will be hidden from view.

Option 2 Hiding Fields Directly from the Table Header

1. Hover your mouse over the header of the field you want to hide. icon will appear.

2. Click the icon and select “Hide Column”.

Note:

To display a hidden field again, follow the steps in Option 1.


How to Adjust the Field Display Order?

1. Click the “Display Fields” button on the table toolbar.

2. In the field list, hover over the field whose position you want to change. icon will appear.

3. Click and hold the icon, then drag the field up or down to adjust its display order.
