Workspace

The Workspace serves as your homepage and personal control center in Jodoo. It brings together essential components, data, and entry points, allowing you to efficiently manage day-to-day tasks and respond to business needs with agility.

There are many sections on Workspace:

  • Workflow Center: Displays all workflow data related to you.

  • My Apps: Shows all apps you have access to or can use.

  • My Favorites: Displays your frequently used resources for one-click quick access.

  • Recently Used: Shows the six resources you accessed most recently, making it easy to return to your previous work.

App

An App in Jodoo is a modular system that contains one or more forms and dashboards, enabling users to perform business operations and data analysis.

In an app, forms allow users to input, edit, and search business data.

The entered data can be visualized on dashboards through charts and tables. This supports better business insight and informed decision-making.

Form

A Form is a structured tool made up of various fields, used to collect and manage data. Forms are the core building blocks of any app in Jodoo, playing a central role throughout the process — from design and publishing to data entry, management, and analysis.

  • Data Entry: Once a form is published by the admin, you can start entering data into it.

  • Data Management: All submitted data is stored in the corresponding form. If you have the appropriate permissions, you can perform operations such as adding or deleting entries.

Admins assign permissions through Permission Sets. You can usually tell what you’re allowed to do based on the name of the sets.

Based on your permission sets, the admin may configure different Views to help you manage data more efficiently:

Grid View: Displays multiple records in a tabular layout, ideal for batch processing.

Kanban View: Groups records by status, category, or any custom field — great for task management or sales pipelines.

Gallery View: Shows images and descriptions in a card format, commonly used for product or project showcases.

Gantt View: Visualizes tasks along a timeline, helping teams manage schedules and project phases.

With the correct permissions, you can perform a variety of operations, including: view, add, copy, export, delete, edit, print, etc.

You can filter data, adjust row height, column width, and toggle field visibility to match your workflow. Customized views can be saved for personal use, ensuring a more tailored data management experience.

Workflow Form

A Workflow Form includes all the capabilities of a standard form but adds automated process routing. It's ideal for collaborative scenarios where tasks need to be completed in a defined order — such as approvals, applications, or support tickets.

Dashboard

A Dashboard is a data visualization tool that helps users analyze and interpret form data. It displays insights using various chart types, providing teams with a clear understanding of business performance and helping them make timely, informed decisions.
