Plugin listing refers to the process of listing a plugin that has passed acceptance review in the Plugin Market. This marks the plugin’s transition from the development stage to market circulation. Users can install or subscribe to the plugin through official channels.
Before a plugin is listed, it must comply with platform rules to ensure that its functionality and content are compliant, secure, reliable, and compatible with the target runtime environment.
List and Promote the Plugin
1.List or Deliver the Plugin
After a plugin passes acceptance review, it enters the stage where the details of plugin listing or separate user delivery are discussed.
If the plugin you developed is a listing-pending plugin, it means whether the plugin will be listed in the Plugin Market has not yet been determined. The platform will organize a limited beta test with a small group of users, and will decide whether to list the plugin based on data such as the number of beta users and user feedback.
If the plugin you developed is a market-listed plugin, the platform will handle the listing process. The listing date will be determined by the platform.
If the plugin you developed is a non-listed plugin, meaning that it is delivered separately to specific users, you do not need to apply for listing. You only need to deliver the shared installation link to the users.
Note: The installation link is an external link. Anyone who obtains the link can install the plugin. If it is a paid plugin, please deliver the link with caution.
2.Promote the Plugin
Depending on whether the plugin is listed and the developer’s needs, the operations team will carry out the following promotion activities:
Plugin Type | Promotion Actions |
Market-listed Plugin | The platform may promote new plugins as needed through in-product banner placements, notifications, Help Center banner placements, changelogs, livestreams, and other channels. Developers can also promote their plugins through their own channels by using the plugin sharing link. We encourage developers to actively promote their plugins to increase revenue while helping more Jodoo users solve business problems. |
Non-listed Plugin | Plugins delivered to specific users may also be promoted in user group chats, the Jodoo Forum, and other channels based on actual circumstances. This helps identify more users with similar needs, increase the number of delivered users for such plugins, and bring more revenue to developers. |
Listing-pending Plugin | For plugins whose listing status has not yet been determined, the platform will use limited beta testing as the main basis for deciding whether to list the plugin. During the beta test, the plugin link will be shared with selected core users for free use over a certain period. The final decision will then be made based on factors such as the number of participating users and user feedback. |
