🚀We've enhanced our initial inventory management application by introducing a digital scanning feature.
You can imput product data by simply scanning product's barcode or QR code, and then our data linkage feature will automatically associate it with other relevant information. You can also check the current stock at the same time with the help of JODOO's aggregate table.
All you need to do is simply scanning the code via JODOO, and we sincerely believe this feature will improve order accuracy during both inbound and outbound operations and this streamlined code scanning process will ensure efficient order fulfillment, minimizing errors and facilitating easy record-keeping.
App Architecture
⓵ Create an 'Add Product' form and enter data such as product code, name, description,category,unit cost, etc.
⓶ Generate a QR code for each product code, print it out and stick it on the product, or directly use the barcode that comes with the product as the product label.
⓷ Set in the 'Receipt/Delivery Orders' forms, turn on the 'scan codes' feature for the 'Product Code' field; set data linkage for the other information, using the product code field as the linkage condition.
⓸ When filling in the form for delivery order/receipt, click the "Product Code" field to scan the QR code to read the code, and then the other info will be linked and show up.
Setup Steps
⓵ Create an ‘Add Product' form and fill in product code, name, description, category, unit cost and other data. In addition to manual input, the ‘product code' can also be generated through the serial number field. For details, read this help doc: Rules for Serial No.
You can also generate the 'product code' field straightforwardly by scanning the barcode if
the product comes with it.
⓶ Print the QR code out and stick it on the product. (This step can be omitted if you use the barcode of the product itself)
⓷ Create "Receipt" and "Delivery Orders" Forms Turn on the 'Scan Codes' feature to enable scanning function for the "Product Code" field Set up data linkage for other basic information field, based on the same product code as a condition.
The figure below shows an example of setting up a product list for the receipt form. The setting for the delivery order is the same as that of a receipt.
⓸ Set up one aggregation table to calculate the current stock.
Only calculate the quantity when managers' signatures have been collected in the workflows. (You can edit the filter conditions here to suit your actual business process)
⓹ Access 'Receipt/Delivery Order' forms on the mobile phone. Click on the scan button besides the code field. Scan the corresponding QR code to extract the code information, and the other product information will be linked to show up automatically
