A reference line is a horizontal dashed, also called an auxiliary line. It represents the magnitude of the vertical value. Chart components that support setting reference lines include:

Preview
The figure below shows the statistics of monthly sales. Set a reference line as the target value. By comparing the current sales with the target sales, you can keep an eye on the gap.
Setting Procedure
You have to prepare a form data in advance.
Creating a Dashboard
Create a dashboard and select the prepared form as the data source.
Add Date and Sales to Dimension and Measure:
Setting a Reference Line
Add and set a reference line in the right area.
Reference line settings include:
Setting | Content | Note |
Name of Reference Line | Enter the name of reference line. | The name will display beside the reference line. |
Type | 1. Fixed Value 2. Dynamic Value | 1. Fixed Value means that the reference line will be fixed at the set value. 2. Dynamic Value includes Average, Max, and Min. |
Display Content | 1. Name 2. Value 3. Name and Value | It will display beside the reference line to explain it's function. |
Color | The color of the reference line. | There are ten preset colors. You cannot customize it. |

Notes
1. If Average is selected and the calculation result has more than two decimal places, only two decimal places will be retained by default.
2. If the Decimal Places of the measure has been set, the data format will be retained according to the existing setting.
