Data Access Link
This passage will introduce functions of data access link and walk you through how to share data access link.
What is Data Access Link?
Data access link enables you to share a record with internal members directly. This helps members quickly find and check the form data.
Demonstration
Admins/members with data permissions can share the link of records with internal members within Jodoo, and internal members can open the link to view data details.
Prerequisite
To set data access link, you must build a form first. If you haven’t done these, you can build your own form from scratch or follow the steps below to build a form.
How to Share Data Access Link?
Step 1 Enabling Data Access Link
1. Link in Manage Data.
On the form editing page, admins can go to Manage Data and click one record to enter the details page.
2. Link in permission sets.
In addition to sharing the data access link in Manage Data by admins, members can share records with permissions to other members through permission sets. In permission sets where you can view or manage data, click one record and go to the data details page.
Step 2 Sharing the Link
In Manage Data or permission sets, go to the data details page of one record, click . You can copy the link/QR code and share it with members.
Note:
The member to whom the link is shared needs to have view permissions for thedata. Otherwise the member will not be able to open that record even if opening the shared link. For details about setting permissions, see Publish to Members.
When to Use Data Access Link?
Data Access Link is applicable to all scenarios of sharing internal data, such as lead information, sales information, and follow-up records.
