Auto Closure

Where to Close

In Jodoo, click your avatar and click My Profile > Close > Continue to Close.

Note:

1. The entrance to close is available to all members.

2. You can only close your account on PC.

Reading Account Closure Instruction and Jodoo User Account Closure Agreement

You need to read Account Closure Instruction and Jodoo User Account Closure Agreement carefully before agreeing to and ticking the agreement. After confirming that you still want to close the account, click Begin Closure, and verify the account.

Verifying the Account

After the verification is completed, you will get the verification code. Then fill in it and click Close Account to finish the closure.

Immediate Closure

Your account will have a seven-day close buffer period to protect your data after being closed. For details about the buffer period, see the section "Close Buffer Period". If you are sure that the account has no value and you do not need the buffer period, you can also completely close the account through immediate closure as follows:

After finishing the closure, when signing in to your account on the account login page, click Close Now to end the close buffer period and automatically recycle the information of the closed account, finishing the closure completely.

Note:

After the closure is completed, the account cannot be restored.

Canceling Closure

If you accidentally close your account, you can recover it by signing in to your account in Jodoo and clicking Cancel Closure as follows:

Account Closure Instruction

You need to check whether your account meets the requirements for closure before closing the account. To close an account, you need to ensure that:

  • Your account has been removed from all other companies/teams (excluding the company/team in which this account is the owner). Members cannot leave their organizations by themselves. Instead, they need to contact the owner/super admin of the business to deactivate them.

  • The business created with this account is using free plans. If the current paid plan has not expired, please complete the refund process for any purchased additional services. On the other hand, the applicant for account closure agrees to waive the right to request a refund for purchased additional services, and this right cannot be exercised in any form after the account is closed.
  • All apps are deleted from the business created with this account.
  • The Jodoo account to be closed is in a secure state. To be specific, the account has not been banned, or the associated forms have not been banned more than five times. In addition, there should be no risk of the account being stolen.
  • All service fees associated with the Jodoo account to be closed have been fully settled.

Close Buffer Period

Once the personal account has been successfully closed, there will be a seven-day close buffer period to protect the user's data.

Within the Close Buffer Period

During the buffer period, the following cases may occur:

1. You cannot bind your email and mobile number to other accounts because the information in the to-be-closed account is still retained.

2. You cannot log in to Jodoo. If you do so, you will receive a prompt "The account is in the close buffer period and cannot be accessed".

3. You will receive a prompt "Email already exists" (email) or "The account is currently in the buffer time of closure. Couldn't access it" (phone number) if you sign up for the to-be-closed account.

4. The members of the company/team to be closed cannot access the company/team, but they can sign in to their personal account of Jodoo to access others.

Note:

During the buffer period, if you want to retrieve your account, contact our Support Team and retrieve the account manually.

Beyond the Close Buffer Period

When the close buffer period ends, the following cases may occur:

1. The account will be closed and cannot be signed in. However, you can sign up for a new account with the original email or phone number.

2. Jodoo will automatically recycle the information of the closed account, and this account cannot be restored.

3. The business created with the closed account will also be closed, and the company/member invitation links issued will be invalid.
