Better Experience for Designing Excel Print Template

To provide a clearer and more effortless design experience for Excel print templates, this update introduces several improvements:

1. Optimize the panel for field selection.

When Subform fields and Select Data fields are used together in a form, the system now displays these fields in a tree-like structure on the field-selecting panel. This helps distinguish the multi-level relationships between fields. Here are the details:

  • When you add a Select Data field to a subform as a subfield, the hierarchy will be "Subform - Subfield - Field from the data source of the Select Data field".
  • When you select a Subform field as a displayed field for the Select Data field, the hierarchy will be "Select Data - Field from the data source of the Select Data field - Subfield".

For example, select a Subform field as a subfield.

For example, select a Subform field as a displayed field for the Select Data field.

2. Reformat fields from the data source of the Select Data field.

In the Excel print template, the format for fields originating from the data source of the Select Data field has been updated. Previously formatted as "Data Source Field.Select Data," the fields are now displayed as "Select Data->Data Source Field." This update enables you to better distinguish between the formats of subform fields and data source fields, which previously appeared quite similar.

Note:

"Data Source Field" refers to the field you choose from the data source of the Select Data field.

3. Transform from clutter to clarity by expanding/collapsing fields.

If there are Subform/Select Data fields in the Excel print template, you can collapse them to reduce visual clutter on the field-selecting panel, thus making it easier for users to scan and navigate your interface.

General Feature

Introducing the Recently Used Component for Custom Workspace

Jodoo 8.9.0 introduces a new component — Recently Used for customizing your workspace. If you add the component, your six most recently used forms/dashboards will be displayed on your workspace. This provides you with quick access to recently used forms/dashboards, thus saving time and improving efficiency.

Internet Explorer — End of Support

After this update, we will stop support for the Internet Explorer (IE) browser. The main page and sub-pages of the Jodoo website (including cases, resources, help documents, etc.) will still be accessible via IE, but all other pages related to Jodoo operations (including logging in, and accessing/editing the workspace, forms, and dashboards) will no longer support IE.

Column Chart, Bar Chart, Line Chart, Area Chart, Combo Chart, Scatter Chart, Bubble Chart, Pie Chart, Radar Chart, Funnel Chart

Gantt Chart

Optimizing Gantt Chart

Following this update, Gantt charts now support additional features to enhance user experience and viewing efficiency:

  • Adjust column width (dimension): Admins can now adjust column widths when editing Gantt charts, and these adjustments will be effective for users upon access.
  • Cache column width (dimension) and zoom level: If a member adjusts the dimension column width or zoom level when viewing a Gantt chart, these settings will be automatically saved, ensuring that the adjusted state is maintained for subsequent views without the need for readjustment.

For example, cache the zoom level.
