Form, Workflow Form, and Dashboard

Introduction

  • Workflow form: used for data submission and workflow review, suitable for reimbursement, leave, and other applications.
  • Form: used for data submission with data collaboration features, including updating, deleting, importing, and exporting, allowing you to allocate permissions to different members.
  • Dashboard: used for data analysis and result presentation, supporting data aggregation, trend analysis, etc.

Workflow Form

Workflow forms allow data input, focusing on the process of inputting data. To be specific, the data will flow along the predefined path, so that a record can be input by multiple members sequentially.

Workflow forms can be used for reviewing and managing technical processes.

Form

Regular forms are used to input data when no workflow is needed.

When publishing a regular form, you can click To Members to allocate different data permissions to members.

Switching Between Regular Forms and Workflow Forms

If you change a regular form to a workflow form, you need to re-configure the workflow. Conversely, if you change a workflow form to a regular form, the workflow you configured will expire, and the submitted data will not flow in a workflow.

Dashboard

Dashboards are used to process data collected by forms. Reports can help you analyze data, such as the sum, average, or data details, and present the results.

Dashboard data comes from forms. In dashboards, you can analyze, view, update, delete, export, and print records.

For example, in dashboards, you can use detail tables to view the details of products or statistical charts to view products' average prices.
