Permission Details
Regular member permissions include two parts: access permissions and data operation permissions.
1. Access Permissions
Access permissions mainly refer to members’ permissions to access apps and dashboards, as shown in the table below:
Access Permission | Accessed Content | Description |
App | Members can enter the app and view the forms, workflow forms, and dashboards under the app. | App access permission is determined by the forms, workflow forms, and dashboards under the app. If members can view any form, workflow form, or dashboard under the app, they have access permission to that app. |
Dashboard | Charts, components, and other content in the dashboard. | Accessible. 1) Members must first be granted dashboard data viewing permission in Dashboard Publishing. 2) When the dashboard data source is a form, the data members can view depends on the configured Data Permission. For other data source types, members can view all data. For more configuration steps, see Data Permission in Dashboard. |
2. Data Operation Permissions
Data operation permissions mainly refer to members’ permissions to perform data-related operations in forms and dashboards. The specific permissions are shown below:
Data Operation Permission | Form Data | Workflow Data | Dashboard Data |
Actions | View, add, copy, edit, delete, batch print, batch edit, import, and export. | Change approver, reactivate workflow, and end workflow. Other actions are the same as form data. | 1) Pivot tables and detail tables only support exporting and printing table data. 2) In spreadsheets and calendars, action permissions inherit the member’s permissions in the source form. Members can import, export, print, copy, edit, delete, and perform other data operations based on their permissions. 3) For more configuration steps, see Data Processing Permission in Dashboard. |
