Overview
When an enterprise member creates an MCP service, they need to submit a request for the Create Data capability to an admin. After the request is approved, the member can use third-party platforms to add data to Jodoo forms.
This provides members with a standardized request and approval process, helping enterprises keep data access secure and controlled while meeting real-time and compliance requirements and improving management efficiency.
When to Use It?
This feature is suitable for enterprises with complex business needs that require admins to centrally manage data write access.
What Does It Look Like?
The following example shows what happens when an admin rejects a member's capability request:
How to Use It?
Step 1 Requesting an MCP Capability
When creating an MCP service, select Create Data, enter the reason for request, and click Create and Submit Request.
Step 2 Approving an MCP Capability
1. After receiving a capability request, an admin can go to Open Platform > MCP Services > Approval List to view and process the request.
2. On the capability access request page, click Approve to approve the member's request.
3. Admins can also reject a request based on enterprise needs. Click Reject, enter the reason for rejection, and confirm rejection.
Step 3 Batch Operations
If multiple members request the Create Data capability, an admin can select multiple requests in Approval List and approve or reject them in batches.
Step 4 Searching for Capability Requests
On the Approval List page, admins can quickly search for capability requests by:
Applicant
Service Name
Capability Type
Step 5 Filtering Capability Requests
Admins can also filter capability requests by status:
Pending Approval
Approved
Rejected
Invalid
Notes
When a member creates an MCP service, the “Create Data” capability requires approval. No approval is required when a super admin creates an MCP service.
If the request is rejected, or if the enterprise member has not requested the capability, the Create Data capability cannot be called.
