Update on September 7

Current Version: 11.8.0

What's New

Sensitive fields can now be masked to better protect data privacy.

Single Line and Number fields now support data masking. Sensitive values can be displayed in masked form when viewing, exporting, or printing form data, helping prevent unintended disclosure.

Admins can also decide whether members are allowed to view the original, unmasked values.

In table views, members can select View Unmasked Data from a column header to reveal all original values in that column at once, eliminating the need to reveal records individually.

Notes:

  • Data masking is available on the Business plan and above.

  • If Allow viewing unmasked data is enabled, all members with permission to view the data can access the original values.

What's Enhanced

Forms can now require members to confirm before submitting data.

Forms now support a submission confirmation step. Before data is submitted, members will see a pop-up message configured by the admin and must confirm before proceeding. This helps reduce accidental submissions and input errors.

Note: Submission confirmation is not currently available for workflow forms.

Data validation now provides clearer messages and more flexible controls.

Data validation has been improved to provide clearer guidance, faster feedback, and more flexible handling of failed validation rules.

1. Validation messages can include field values

Admins can insert form fields into validation messages, making prompts more specific and easier to understand.

2. Validation can run in real time

When enabled, validation runs immediately as users edit fields involved in a validation rule.

3. Failed validation rules can be handled more flexibly

Admins can choose to block submission or allow users to ignore the warning and continue.

Custom detail pages can now display hierarchical data more clearly.

A new Hierarchical Table component is now available on custom detail pages. It displays data with parent-child relationships created through Link to This Form, making hierarchical business data easier to review and maintain.

Charts can now use more processed and aggregated data sources.

Chart components now support Data Flows and Summary Tables as data sources. This allows charts to be built directly from processed or aggregated data, supporting more reporting and visualization scenarios.

Activity metrics can now be drilled down into detailed audit logs.

The Admin Activity Data and Member Activity Data sections in Usage Statistics now support drill-down. Users can click aggregated metrics to view the underlying activity logs, with relevant filters applied automatically. The log details can also be exported.

Users can also click an app, form, or dashboard name to open the corresponding object directly, helping distinguish objects with the same name.

This makes it easier to investigate unexpected spikes in edits, review deletion and export activity, and assess whether inactive applications can be retired.

Note:

Activity details are available for the past one year. Drill-down access to detailed logs is available for the most recent 180 days only.

Member activity can now be reviewed by department.

Member Activity Data now includes a By Department view. After selecting a department, admins can review creation, modification, deletion, and export activity for current members of that department and its sub-departments. The results can be exported for further analysis.

This helps organizations track adoption progress, share usage metrics with department leaders, and identify low-activity departments that may need additional training.

Notes:

1. Statistics begin only after a department has been selected.

2. Results are based on the department’s current members, including activity those members performed while assigned to other departments.

MCP Service is now called AI Connection and offer stronger controls.

MCP Service has been renamed to AI Connection. Existing MCP capabilities remain available under Usage Methods in AI Connections, while the new name provides a broader foundation for future integrations.

1. Authorization expiry can now be configured

Admins can set an authorization validity period to reduce security risks associated with long-lived access.

2. Agent installation prompts are now available

Ready-to-use prompts help connect tools such as WorkBuddy and Codex, and can be copied to other AI tools.

3. Multiple AI Connection cards can now be added

Different AI tools can use separate authorizations and permissions independently.

These updates simplify setup, improve integration flexibility, and strengthen data security across AI-powered workflows.
