Scenario
When a workflow is returned to the initiator, the initiator may no longer need the record and want to delete it.
In Jodoo, workflow records can be deleted in two ways:
By admins: Delete records directly in Manage Data.
By members: Delete their own records through a permission set with Delete permission.
How to Delete Workflow Records?
Method 1 Deleting Records as an Admin
Open the target Workflow Form and go to Manage Data.
Find the workflow record you want to delete.
Select the record, click Delete, and confirm the deletion.
Method 2 Allowing Members to Delete Their Own Records
Step 1 Configuring a Custom Permission Set
Open the Workflow Form and go to Publish > To Members. Create a Custom Permission Set and add the members who need to delete their records.
Under Actions, enable Delete.
Under Data Permission, set the data scope to records created by the member, so they can only delete their own records. Save the permission set.
Step 2 Deleting Records as a Member
Open the app and select the corresponding Workflow Form. Switch to the permission set with Delete permission. Find the record you want to delete and open its details.
Click Delete and confirm.
Note: Members must delete workflow records through the corresponding permission set, not from My Tasks.
More to Know
If the Delete button is not displayed, check whether the member has Delete permission and access to the record.
Deleted records are moved to Data Recycle, where admins can recover them if needed.
