Attachment

The Attachment field is another widely used field in forms. Want to know how to use this field? Follow this article, you will find everything you need to know about the Attachment field.

What is the Attachment Field?

The Attachment field is used to upload files. It supports uploading multiple file types and is therefore widely applied in forms. You upload contract files through the Attachment field in the case of order management or collect invoice files when there are reimbursement requests. Here is what it looks like and where to set it up.

Demonstration

On PC, you can upload attachments from file folders by selecting the files directly, dragging and dropping, or pasting them. Here is an example of uploading invoices in the Reimbursement Management form.

Field Properties

For basic settings of Field Properties, see Fields.

1. Uploading Only One File

The Attachment field supports uploading multiple files by default (a maximum of ten files can be uploaded in one single Attachment field). If you only want to upload one file, you can tick Upload only one file.

Note:

After successfully uploading attachments in a form, the number of attachments will be calculated even if you do not submit the form or delete an attachment field or data in the form after submitting it.

2. Limiting File Formats

The Attachment field supports uploading all kinds of file formats. If you want to limit file formats, tick Limit file formats and add the allowed formats in the box. After inputting a file format in a single box, you can save it simply by pressing the Enter key.

After the settings, members can only upload attachments whose file formats are within your set range.

Note:

1. You can only input letters, Arabic numerals, and commas (case-insensitive) when adding file formats.

2. You can customize at most 30 file formats and each file format should be no more than ten characters.

3. Limiting the Size of Each File

There are different uploading upper limits for each file in different plans of Jodoo.

For details, see the following table:
