Automations FAQ
Q: What is an Automation?
Automation is also called Trigger or Data Writeback. After creating, updating or deleting data in a form, the Automation can automatically create, update, and delete data in another form.
Q: What can Automations do?
Automations can be used in all aspects of business management. For example, in equipment maintenance management, after servicemen finish their job, the status of repaired equipment will be automatically changed to Normal. In personnel OA management, after an employee applies to turnover, the status of the employee will be automatically changed to Inactive. There are many application scenarios of Automations, for details, see Automations.
Q: Can Automations trigger workflows?
Workflows can be triggered by Automations. When the Triggered Action of an Automation is creating data, and the target form is a workflow form, the workflow can be triggered.
Note: A workflow triggered by an automation has no initiator.
Q: Why is the set automation not triggered?
