Publishing a Form

Introduction

Feature Overview

For members to submit data via a form, the form must be published.

You can publish a form internally within your company/team or externally to everyone:

Publish to Whom

Description

This option allows you to publish a form to individuals listed in your contacts, granting them specific permissions to submit or manage the form's data.

This option makes the form accessible to anyone, even those outside your organization. External users can view and interact with the form, but their permissions are restricted. For example, they may only submit data or query the form's contents, without the ability to alter or manage the form.

When publishing a form to members, you can configure data permissions, enabling members to manage the data they are authorized to access.

How to Publish a Form

Where to Publish

There are two methods to publish a form:

  • Select a form, click Edit, go to Publish, and then set permissions for members.

  • On the Design page, click Save after designing the form. Then click to publish the form.

Publishing a Form to Members

When you publish a form to members, they must log in to their accounts to enter data, allowing for differentiated responsibilities in data reporting and management.

For example, members may have permissions only to submit data, whereas department heads might be granted broader access to manage all data within the form.

Publishing a Form to All

When you publish a form to all, it allows any user to access the form and submit data without needing to log into Jodoo. Additionally, you can establish a public query link, enabling external users to search and retrieve submitted data based on specified query conditions.
